Job Summary

A General Practitioner provides comprehensive primary healthcare services, ensuring accurate diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care in accordance with Qatar’s healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations, examinations, and medical histories
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
• Order and interpret lab tests and imaging
• Provide preventive care and health education
• Refer patients to specialists when required
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Follow infection control and patient safety standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent
• Valid license from Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) or eligibility
• Completed internship
• 2–5+ years of experience (GCC preferred)
• DataFlow verification & Prometric exam (if applicable)
• Good communication skills (English required, Arabic preferred)
