Key Responsibilities:

• Supports the business by communicating team resource loading and skill requirements to the direct supervisor.
• Ensures the project work is covered for vacation and unplanned absences. Mentors/trains and supports the delivery of training.
• Encourages knowledge of and compliance with requirements and processes.
• Works to resolve inter-discipline, vendor, and customer issues.
• Ensures discipline technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
• Determines technical issues, defines alternate solutions, establishes pros/cons for multiple solutions, and makes recommendations to support official project documents such as technical queries, technical deviations, etc.
• Creates final documentation incorporating all relevant information and pursues internal authorization.
• May review similar documentation to assist others and reviews/authorizes work done by direct reports.

• Perform discipline specific design and drafting services such as:

  Ensure the project scope is clear and that changes to scope comply with project change management processes;If required, participate in studies and analyses and recommend actions;Prepare and oversee the production of engineering drawings and documentation;Ensure all drawings and documents are checked in accordance with Worley checking procedures; Participate in project reviews as required.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

• Trade Apprenticeship, Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mechanical/Piping discipline.

Industry Specific Knowledge:

• Experience in Brownfield & Greenfield in both onshore & offshore projects.
• Proven experience of detailed piping design gained with design contractors and/or oil/gas companies within the industry.
• Extensive design experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry, and, where relevant, experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

IT Skills:

• S3D & E3D, AUTOCAD, LFM
