We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reservations Manager to join our team at Swissotel Corniche Park Towers Doha Qatar. As a key member of our hospitality management team you will oversee the reservations department ensuring exceptional customer service and maximizing revenue through effective inventory management.

  • Lead and manage the reservations team providing guidance training and support to ensure optimal performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue
  • Collaborate with sales marketing and revenue management teams to create and execute promotional packages and special offers
  • Monitor and analyze reservation trends adjusting strategies as needed to meet business objectives
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of all reservations including individual group and corporate bookings
  • Handle complex reservation inquiries changes and cancellations with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory across various distribution channels including the hotels website OTAs and GDS
  • Generate and analyze reports on reservations occupancy and revenue performance
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues related to reservations promptly and professionally
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reservations management
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the reservations department
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies procedures and regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • 35 years of experience in hotel reservations or front office operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong working knowledge of Opera Property Manager System (PMS) and Central Reservations System (CRS)
  • Proven leadership experience in a hotel environment
  • Excellent understanding of revenue management principles and practices
  • Outstanding communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word and Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and motivating teams
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
  • Strong decisionmaking abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays as required
