Planning Engineer Oil & Gas Projects

Location: Qatar (Only local candidates preferred)

Job Purpose

To develop monitor and control project schedules for Oil & Gas projects ensuring timely execution in line with contractual requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software

• Develop baseline programs manpower histograms and resource plans

• Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly

• Identify delays risks and critical path activities

• Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies

• Coordinate with project managers engineering procurement and site teams

• Prepare progress reports dashboards and client presentations

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project milestones

Requirements

• / B.E. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed university

• 8–12 years of experience in Planning within the Oil & Gas industry

• Mandatory GCC experience

• Strong knowledge of Primavera P6

• Experience in EPC projects preferred

• Strong analytical and reporting skills
