Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Proposal / Estimation Engineer to join the Commercial/Engineering team in a corporate environment. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates tender submissions and commercial proposals to support business development and project acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates based on drawings specifications and BOQs

• Analyze tender documents scope of work and contract conditions

• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals

• Coordinate with engineering procurement and finance teams for pricing inputs

• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations

• Identify project risks and incorporate contingencies in pricing

• Participate in tender clarifications and negotiations

• Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records

• Ensure timely submission of compliant and competitive bids

Requirements

• BSc / BE in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Estimation and Tendering

• Relevant industry experience is mandatory

• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and cost structures

• Experience in corporate/commercial office-based role preferred

• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software

• Strong analytical and commercial awareness

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Must be locally available
