Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the Commercial/Engineering department in a corporate capacity. The role involves managing cost planning contract administration and commercial controls across multiple projects from a centralized office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates BOQs and tender documentation

• Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies

• Manage variations claims and contract administration

• Review subcontractor quotations and negotiate terms

• Monitor project budgets and ensure cost control measures are implemented

• Evaluate interim payment applications and certify invoices

• Perform risk assessments related to commercial and contractual matters

• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting systems

• Coordinate with engineering procurement and finance teams

• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies

Requirements

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying

• Industry-specific experience is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of contract management and cost control principles

• Proficiency in MS Office and QS software tools

• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Experience working in corporate/commercial office setup preferred
