Production Planning Control & Material Coordinator

Role purpose:

Own day-to-day lookahead planning progress tracking material availability coordination to ensure workfront readiness offshore/onshore yards avoiding downtime due to missing materials late deliveries or planning gaps.

Reporting line:

Usually reports to Project Controls / Construction Manager working closely with planning engineer(s) warehouse expediting and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain short-term & medium-term plans (daily/weekly lookaheads) aligned with project baseline schedule.
• Track progress and productivity highlight constraints and issue recovery actions with construction leads.
• Coordinate material status: MTO follow-up delivery tracking MR/PR status expediting interface and site material reconciliation.
• Ensure workfront ready packs: drawings latest revision permits materials tools/equipment availability.
• Maintain planning and material logs produce weekly dashboards and support client reporting.

Requirements (typical):

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering Construction Management or Supply Chain
• Experience in EPC planning material coordination 8 years)
• Tools: Primavera P6 or MS Project (planning exposure) Excel (advanced) ERP/material tracking exposure (SAP is a plus)
