BI Analyst Perm

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in SQL for analyzing transactional and financial datasets
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Ability to design dashboards and MIS reports for:
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server Oracle PostgreSQL)
• Strong command of Excel for financial analysis and reconciliation
• Basic understanding of ETL pipelines and data transformations
• Understanding of payments remittance FX cards or digital banking workflows
• Familiarity with financial KPIs:
• Ability to reconcile transaction-level data across systems
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into accurate actionable dashboards
• Perform root-cause analysis on transaction failures and discrepancies
• Support management reporting and ad-hoc analysis
• Validate data consistency across multiple source systems

Nice to Have

• Exposure to ledger settlement and reconciliation reports is a plus
• Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements (QCB AML KYC audit)
• Basic Python for data analysis and automation
• Experience with payment gateways core banking or remittance platforms
• Exposure to data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Experience building regulatory or audit reports
• Understanding of data privacy and access controls

Experience & Education

• 14 years of experience in BI data analysis or MIS roles within fintech banking or payments
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Finance or related field
