Protection Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Protection Engineer to handle protection relay configuration testing and commissioning activities with a strong focus on SIP 4 relays for an oil & gas facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Configuration testing and commissioning of SIP 4 protection relays

• Perform relay settings secondary injection testing and fault analysis

• Review protection schemes and ensure compliance with project requirements

• Coordinate with switchgear and commissioning teams during testing activities

• Troubleshoot protection system issues and provide technical solutions

• Prepare testing reports relay settings documentation and as-built records

• Ensure all activities comply with safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 5 years of experience in protection engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with SIP 4 relays

• Oil & gas or industrial project experience preferred

• Proficiency in English communication

• Contract-based availability for site deployment
