Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile cranes (truck-mounted rough terrain or crawler) and gantry cranes as per assigned tasks

• Perform lifting hoisting lowering and positioning of loads accurately and safely

• Interpret lifting plans load charts and signals from riggers and signalmen

• Conduct pre-operation inspections and daily safety checks of cranes and lifting accessories

• Ensure proper use of outriggers counterweights rails and safety devices

• Coordinate with supervisors riggers and ground personnel during lifting operations

• Monitor load stability crane capacity and working radius at all times

• Report any mechanical issues defects or unsafe conditions immediately

• Maintain operational logs and inspection records

• Comply strictly with HSE regulations company procedures and site rules

Requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Crane Operator License (Mobile and/or Gantry Crane)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating mobile cranes and/or gantry cranes

• Experience in construction sites ports industrial plants or yards preferred
