Optometrist job in Doha, Qatar

Job Description We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Doha. The successful candidate will provide professional eye care services, diagnose, and treat vision problems.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye examinations

Manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, and other conditions

Diagnose ocular diseases and interpret diagnostic tests

Monitor disease progression and prescribe medications

Fit contact lenses and provide pre-operative and post-operative care

Refer patients to specialists when necessary

Educate patients on eye care and vision correction options

Keep patient records updated

Provide emergency eye care services when needed

Qualifications

Degree in Optometry

Valid optometry license in Qatar

Minimum of two years' experience as an Optometrist

Excellent interpersonal skills and patient education abilities

Knowledge of latest optometry advances and therapeutic pharmaceutical agents

Additional Information We welcome qualified immigrants willing to work within our team. The salary offered is 1800 QAR per month.
