Overview Sales Executive - Corporate

The role holder will contribute to the performance of the hotel by applying the skills acquired through past experience in the Sales Department. As a Sales Executive, the candidate is responsible for soliciting, selling, and contracting rooms within the assigned market. The focus is on driving group bookings and sales leads, increasing conversion, and month-end reporting and tracking of account production.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship and Teamwork
Entertains and conducts hotel inspections with clients when required.
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with established clientele and explores new business opportunities.
Work closely with Revenue Manager to ensure guestroom rate integrity.
Liaises with related operations departments to ensure guest requests and expectations are met.
Business Strategy
Establishes an efficient trace file to ensure that all business booked is properly tracked.
Follows up sales leads to identify prospect accounts.
Assists in achieving the monthly and annual personal target contributing to Sales revenue.
Schedules daily sales activities (Sales Calls, Site Inspections, Entertainments).
Product Knowledge
Develops a good knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering & PMS systems.
Conducts extensive competitor research and maintains excellent product knowledge of the hotel.
Skills & Competencies

Strong time management and relationship-building skills.
Strong organization and follow-up skills.

Experience, Certification & Education
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management or Tourism.
Two years’ experience in the same job role.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Holder of a valid Qatar driving licence.
