Commercial and Procurement Manager

Qualification & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering Construction Management Commercial Management or Business Administration
• Master’s degree (MBA or MSc in Construction/Project Management) is a strong advantage
• Professional Certifications (Highly Preferred)
• MRICS / FRICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors)
• MCIOB (Chartered Institute of Building)
• Chartered Quantity Surveyor (CQS) or equivalent
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (added value)

Experience

• 12–20 years of progressive experience in commercial management within large construction infrastructure or EPC organizations
• Proven track record managing high-value projects (USD 50M / QAR 200M)
• Experience across pre-contract and post-contract functions
• GCC experience strongly preferred (Qatar KSA UAE)
• Core Commercial Expertise
• Contract administration (FIDIC Red/Yellow/Silver Books)
• Claims management variations EOTs and dispute resolution
• Cost control cash-flow forecasting CVRs and financial reporting
• Procurement strategy subcontractor negotiation and contract awards
• Risk identification mitigation and commercial governance
• Value engineering and cost optimization
