Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance safety and reliability.

• Install assemble and maintain mechanical equipment and machinery
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs efficiently
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings schematics and technical manuals
• Conduct inspections and routine checks to ensure equipment functionality
• Replace or repair defective parts such as bearings belts valves pumps and motors
• Ensure compliance with safety quality and environmental standards
• Maintain maintenance records logs and reports
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve equipment performance
• Assist in equipment upgrades modifications and commissioning activities

Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components
• Ability to use hand tools power tools and precision measuring instruments
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of hydraulics pneumatics and rotating equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
