Cloud & Network Security Engineer

Role Overview

The Cloud & Network Security Engineer will be responsible for securing the organizations Azure cloud environment and onsite network infrastructure. The role focuses on threat protection firewall security compliance alignment and ensuring a stable and secure hybrid network ecosystem.

Key Skills & Expertise

Cloud Security (Azure)

• Experience with Azure Defender for Cloud Sentinel (SIEM) and Key Vault
  

• Identity and access security including Conditional Access PIM MFA and RBAC
  

• Threat detection incident response and log analytics monitoring
  

Perimeter Security & Firewalls

• Hands-on experience configuring and managing FortiGate firewalls
  (VPNs IPS/IDS routing security policies)
  

• Web Application Firewall (WAF) setup and optimization
  

• Secure remote access segmentation and network protection strategies
  

Onsite Network Management (UniFi / Ubiquiti)

• Administration of UniFi controllers switches gateways and access points
  

• LAN and Wi-Fi deployment troubleshooting and performance optimization
  

• Security configurations including VLANs guest networks and access controls
  

Governance & Compliance

• Development and enforcement of security baselines and policies
  

• Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability management activities.
  

Requirements

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience in cloud security network security and hybrid infrastructure
  

• Strong background with FortiGate and UniFi/Ubiquiti networking environments
  

• Experience supporting enterprise-grade environments with security focus
