Accounts Manager Job Description (Brief)

We are hiring an experienced Accounts Manager to manage the companys financial operations and ensure accurate accounting records. The role involves overseeing AP/AR general ledger financial reporting budgeting and compliance with internal controls.
Candidates with retail experience will be given added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting activities including AP/AR bank reconciliation and general ledger management.
• Prepare monthly financial statements P&L balance sheets and cash flow reports.
• Monitor budgets forecasts and expense controls.
• Ensure compliance with VAT/tax regulations and coordinate with auditors.
• Maintain strong internal controls and improve financial processes.
• Collaborate with management for strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software/ any erp
• Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Retail experience is an added advantage
