Lifting Appointed Person

Job Description:
The Lifting Appointed Person is responsible for planning managing and supervising all lifting operations to ensure safety efficiency and compliance with regulations. This includes preparing detailed lift plans conducting risk assessments selecting appropriate lifting equipment and coordinating with supervisors and rigging teams. The candidate will ensure all lifting activities comply with LEEA and international safety standards verify certifications and oversee complex or critical lifts. The Appointed Person will also provide technical guidance liaise with clients and ensure documentation and records are properly maintained.

Qualifications & Experience:

• LEEA-accredited Appointed Person certificate.

• Strong technical knowledge of lifting equipment configurations and load calculations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy lifting operations.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
