Job Summary:

The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking orders serving food and beverages and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests. The role requires excellent communication attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.

• Present menus take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.

• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring correct presentation and temperature.

• Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.

• Clear tables reset dining areas and maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.

• Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions as per company policy.

• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations.

• Follow hygiene safety and service standards as per company and health regulations.

• Upsell menu items and promote special offers when appropriate.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role preferred.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service.

• Experience in hotel restaurant or catering environments.

• Multilingual communication skills (advantage).
