Job Summary
A Stockroom Associate is responsible for receiving organizing and maintaining inventory in a retail stores stockroom or warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
- Unload merchandise from delivery trucks inspect for damage and process receipts.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the stockroom ensuring accurate stock levels and easy access.
- Conduct cycle counts reconcile discrepancies and report any issues to management.
- Retrieve merchandise from the stockroom for store displays customer orders or online fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean safe and organized stockroom environment.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift carry and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and processing.
- Ability to maintain a organized and efficient stockroom environment.
- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues management and customers.
