Accountant

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (Professional qualifications like CA ACCA CIMA etc. are preferred).
• 35 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.
• Exposure to IFRS is preferable.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ERP software.
• Proficient in English (Arabic is desirable).
• Middle East experience is preferable.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Process transactions book entries and prepare reconciliations and relevant schedules.
• Ensure financial and accounting transactions comply with Milaha’s policies and relevant reporting standards.
• Provide support for budgeting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other operational financerelated functions.
• Implement necessary financial controls systems and processes to support business operations.
• Perform various account reconciliations and system bank reconciliations.
• Review trial balance revenue and expense accounts for errors before monthend closing.
• Prepare and post entries for monthend closing processes.
• Perform intercompany transactions and support management reporting and data analytics.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and Milaha policies.
• Assist business units with financial advice and insights.
• Participate in health & safety security and quality initiatives.
