Rental Specialist -AWP - Qatar

A leading equipment rental company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Rental Specialist to join its team in Qatar. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong experience in the AWP (Aerial Work Platforms) or heavy equipment rental sector and a proven ability to manage accounts and grow rental business across key industries including Construction Oil & Gas Events and Facilities Management (FM).

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across key sectors including Construction Oil & Gas Events and FM
  

• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  

• Handle incoming rental inquiries and proactively follow up on leads to convert them into successful deals
  

• Prepare and present competitive rental quotations aligned with pricing strategies
  

• Achieve individual rental performance targets based on agreed KPIs
  

• Develop and execute rental project plans in coordination with relevant departments
  

• Collaborate with operations logistics and finance to ensure seamless rental delivery and service execution
  

• Provide accurate timely and comprehensive reporting on past and forecasted rental activities
  

• Actively contribute to the implementation of business initiatives and marketing strategies
  

• Use CRM tools and structured processes to manage client interactions and account development
  

• Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and other industry events
  

• Ensure adherence to company policies governance standards and ethical business practices
  

• Follow up on customer payments in collaboration with the Credit Control team
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 4 years experience in rental sales and key account management ideally in the heavy equipment or AWP sector.
  

• Strong technical understanding of aerial work platforms and related equipment
  

• Higher education degree or equivalent work experience
  

• Knowledge of the Qatari market; GCC market exposure is an advantage
  

• Proficient in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
  

• Strong command of MS Office applications; familiarity with CRM tools
  

• Willingness to travel within Qatar and occasionally across the GCC
  

• Ability to work in a structured internationally oriented organization.
  

• Willing to work in Qatar.
