Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Supervisor with an electrical background to join our team at Swissotel Doha Corniche Park Towers Doha. As an Engineering Supervisor you will play a crucial role in overseeing engineering projects managing team members and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers technicians and support staff
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency
• Oversee daily operations including work order management and project updates
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
• Manage and optimize equipment operation and maintenance schedules
• Monitor and analyze utility consumption and implement conservation measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
• Prepare and present detailed reports on project status performance metrics and resource allocation
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative solutions
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members

Qualifications :

• Licensed Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role preferably in a hotel or similar facility
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• Strong project management skills and experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles safety regulations and industry best practices
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools relevant to facility management
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Experience with swimming pool equipment operation and water treatment (preferred)
• Familiarity with chiller systems and utility management (preferred)
