Chief Financial Officer

Overview

The CFO will act as a key partner to the CEO and Board leading financial strategy governance and operational efficiency. The role focuses on turning around a loss-making business driving profitability ensuring compliance and enabling sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a financial turnaround strategy to restore profitability.
• Oversee accounting treasury reporting and internal controls in line with IFRS and local regulations.
• Drive cost optimization revenue growth and performance improvement across operations.
• Partner with business units and maintain strong relations with banks auditors and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with tax governance and audit requirements while managing risks.
• Lead and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors in Finance Accounting or related field (Masters preferred).

• CPA/ACCA/CFA or equivalent strongly preferred.

• 10 years in senior finance leadership with at least 5 years as CFO in high-performance environments.

• Proven success in business turnaround and profitability improvement.

• Strong knowledge of FMCG sector financials in Qatar.

• Bilingual: English required Arabic preferred.
