Apt Resources is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Technology Senior Expert (Renewable Assets) under the Power Sector to join our clients dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in renewable energy who is committed to advancing sustainable energy solutions.

The Technology Senior Expert will be responsible for optimizing the performance of renewable energy assets implementing cutting-edge technologies and leading strategic projects that drive efficiency reliability and innovation. This position plays a key role in supporting the organizations transition to clean energy and ensuring alignment with long-term environmental and operational goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Provide expert analysis and recommendations for the integration and optimization of renewable energy technologies.
• Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the companys goals to enhance renewable assets.
• Work closely with project teams to define technical requirements and support project execution for various renewable energy initiatives.
• Conduct feasibility studies and contribute to the design and engineering of renewable energy projects.
• Stay current with industry trends advancements in technology and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams stakeholders and partners to drive innovation and best practices through the lifecycle of renewable assets.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and training sessions on emerging technologies and performance improvements in renewable energy.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies regulatory bodies and industry partners to enhance business opportunities and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Finance Engineering Sustainable Energy or similar discipline from a reputable university with a preference for the candidates holding an MBA.
• 10 years of experience in similar roles in large companies of which at least 4 years are in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills.
• Solid people management skills.
• Good understanding of power/energy and water sectors emerging trends technologies and key players.
• Proficiency in English (must) and Arabic (plus).
• Excellent relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work with key stakeholders senior executives management team and external partners/advisors through collaboration & teamwork.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment
