Valve Fitters

Responsibilities:

• Assemble install and align manual and automated valves including gate globe ball butterfly and check valves.
  

• Perform inspection testing and maintenance of valves to ensure proper operation.
  

• Read and interpret engineering drawings piping isometrics and valve datasheets.
  

• Carry out disassembly cleaning and reassembly of valves and actuators.
  

• Ensure correct torqueing alignment and leak testing according to manufacturer and project standards.
  

• Work closely with fitters welders and pipe technicians during installation and maintenance activities.
  

• Perform pressure testing flushing and calibration of valves as required.
  

• Adhere to all HSE policies confined space procedures and permit-to-work (PTW) systems.
  

• Maintain records of valve maintenance spares used and inspection reports.
