TEKLA MODELER

We are looking for a skilled TEKLA Modeler to join our engineering/drafting team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience using Tekla Structures to create accurate and detailed 3D models of structural steel precast concrete or rebar components. You will be responsible for producing shop drawings erection drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM) based on client and engineering specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and accurate 3D models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures.
• Create and manage models for fabrication and erection including all connections assemblies and associated detailing.
• Model complete facade assemblies including brackets anchors mullions transoms cladding panels and fixings.
• Generate shop drawings erection drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) directly from Tekla models.
• Perform material take-offs and ensure model data is aligned with fabrication requirements.
• Collaborate with structural engineers detailers and fabrication teams to resolve design issues and ensure constructability.
• Maintain model accuracy through various design revisions and project phases.
• Ensure all work complies with project standards industry codes and client specifications.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in steel detailing and modeling with Tekla Structures.
• At least 1-2 years of experience specifically in facade modeling including curtain walls cladding and support systems.
• Certification or formal training in Tekla Structures or similar BIM software is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication facade system installation and connection detailing. Ability
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with fabrication and erection standards relevant to both structural and facade elements.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
