IT technician

Job Purpose

The IT Technician will be responsible for providing technical support troubleshooting hardware and software issues maintaining IT systems and ensuring smooth daily operations for end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install configure and maintain computer hardware software systems networks printers and scanners.

• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.

• Respond promptly to service issues and requests raised by users.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware software and network problems.

• Set up user accounts permissions and passwords.

• Provide technical support across the company (in person via phone or remotely).

• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.

• Perform regular system backups and data recovery processes.

• Assist in IT asset management and maintain up-to-date IT inventory.

• Support the rollout of new applications and system upgrades.

• Liaise with external vendors for IT equipment and services when required.
