Pipeline inspector

Location: Offshore Qatar
Work Schedule: 12 hours/day 6 days/week (rotation)
Contract Type: Contract Staffing

Job Purpose:
To carry out inspection and quality control activities on offshore pipelines in compliance with Qatargas specifications and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspection of pipeline laying welding and installation works.

• Perform NDT (PAUT TOFD conventional) and AUT inspections.

• Ensure compliance with Qatargas specifications and DNV-ST-C501 standards.

• Verify quality documentation and prepare inspection reports.

• Liaise with contractors QA/QC and client representatives on inspection findings.

Requirements:

• Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical or equivalent.

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in pipeline inspection.

• Certifications: CSWIP 3.2.1/3.2.2 BGAS Level 2 PCN NDT (PAUT TOFD conventional) AUT CSWIP Level 2.

• Knowledge of Qatargas specifications and offshore pipeline projects.

• Strong communication skills; English proficiency required.
