Install maintain and repair pumps motors compressors blowers gearboxes mechanical seals and rotating machinery. Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment using laser or dial indicator methods. Dismantle and reassemble machinery for inspection repair or replacement of parts. Inspect mechanical components for wear defects and alignment issues. Carry out preventive corrective and predictive maintenance as per schedules and OEM manuals. Work on high-pressure systems including SWRO (Seawater Reverse Osmosis) intake pumps brine reject systems and auxiliary utilities. Fabricate or modify components using hand tools power tools and welding (as required). Interpret technical drawings P&IDs manuals and mechanical diagrams. Collaborate with operations instrumentation and electrical teams for system integration and troubleshooting. Maintain accurate maintenance records reports and logbooks. Comply with all health safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and plant safety procedures. Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering Millwright or Industrial Maintenance. Minimum 35 years of experience in millwright or mechanical technician roles in industrial or utility plants. Experience in desalination water treatment petrochemical or power generation is highly preferred. Proficient in mechanical systems including pumps hydraulic systems bearings seals and drive systems. Skilled in using precision tools (micrometers calipers alignment tools) and lifting/rigging equipment. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
