Lead CivilStructural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design analysis and review of civil and structural engineering deliverables for the project.
  
• Provide technical guidance to project teams contractors and consultants.
  
• Ensure compliance with international codes standards (e.g. ACI AISC BS Eurocodes) and client specifications.
  
• Conduct structural calculations load analysis and foundation design for onshore/offshore facilities.
  
• Supervise preparation of drawings material specifications and construction documents.
  
• Perform site inspections resolve technical issues and support construction teams.
  
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (electrical mechanical instrumentation).
  
• Ensure safety quality and timely delivery of project deliverables.
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  
• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil/structural design preferably in oil & gas projects.
  
• Chartered Engineer (CEng/PE) preferred.
  
• Consultancy experience with Kent Wood Worley BCCES or Technip
  
  
• Strong QatarEnergy project background
  
  
• Valid Qatar Engineering License (MME/MMUP/UPDA)
  
• Strong knowledge of STAAD Pro ETABS SAP2000 and AutoCAD.
  

Skills:

• Leadership problem-solving and team coordination.
  
• Strong project management and communication skills.
  
• Familiarity with Qatar/local regulations is an advantage.
