Mechanical Helper

• Assist mechanical technicians and engineers in the maintenance and repair of plant machinery and equipment.
  
• Help with the installation disassembly and reassembly of mechanical components.
  
• Support routine inspection of mechanical systems identifying leaks wear or other signs of malfunction.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools equipment and the maintenance work area.
  
• Carry out basic lubrication cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks.
  
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  
• Transport tools parts and materials to and from work sites within the plant.
  
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls and emergencies as directed.
  
• Assist in documentation and record-keeping for maintenance activities.
  
• Comply with all plant safety and environmental policies and procedures.
  
• 1 2 years of relevant experience in a mechanical or industrial maintenance role preferably in a wastewater or utility environment.
  
• Basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
