Mixologist

The Mixologist at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is an expert in the art and science of crafting innovative and exceptional cocktails. This role requires creativity advanced knowledge of spirits and mixology techniques and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience in a luxury setting. The Mixologist plays a key role in elevating the beverage program and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and serve unique high-quality cocktails and beverages that align with the brands luxury standards and guest preferences.
• Develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus in collaboration with the Bar Manager.
• Engage guests with expert knowledge about drinks ingredients and mixology trends to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean organized and well-stocked bar area ensuring all tools and ingredients are prepared and readily available.
• Train and mentor bar staff on cocktail preparation presentation and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Manage inventory monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal bar operations.
• Handle guest inquiries special requests and feedback with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Participate in promotional events and collaborate with marketing teams to highlight the bars offerings.
• Stay current with industry trends new techniques and innovative mixology practices through ongoing education.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Mixologist or Senior Bartender preferably in luxury hotel/s and/or resort/s.
• Deep knowledge of spirits liqueurs cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.
• Creativity and passion for crafting innovative drinks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to train motivate and lead bar team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform bar-related tasks.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings weekends and holidays.
