Job Description :

Engineering Design:

• Conceptualize design and develop engineering solutions for oil field services ensuring compliance with industry standards codes and client specifications independently.
• Generate Bill of Materials component drawings assembly drawings and assembly procedures in accordance with engineering standards and procedures.
• Perform design calculations on various components to verify suitability in different design conditions.
• Develop detailed design qualification test procedures and qualification test layouts.
• Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed drawings and models.
• Conduct design reviews and verifications to identify and address potential issues.
• Perform qualification tests on prototypes and create qualification test reports.
• Assist in creating operation manuals for products according to engineering standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to new product development and enhancements to existing products.
• Ensure all project documents are submitted to the company's SAP/ERP system and ensure proper project closure.
• Participate in design reviews offering technical insights and recommendations.
• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed engineering projects considering technical economic and environmental factors and provide recommendations.
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements quality standards and compliance requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed design documentation including drawings specifications and design change records. Provide accurate and timely updates on design progress and milestones.
• Propose and implement improvements to design processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to internal teams and clients offering insights into design reasoning and functionality.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field teams to address design-related challenges during implementation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or in similar field.
• 08-12 years of experience in designing wellhead gate valves x-mas tree and frac-tree.
• Strong background in 3D/2D CAD modeling and drafting (SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred) PDM is added advantage.
• Sound understanding of GD&T with experience in design analysis and calculation.
• Experience in Wellhead Equipment design and frac-tree is a must.
• Good understanding of API specifications such as API 6A and 16A.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word MS Projects and PowerPoint software.
• Experience in using SAP.
