Senior Commissioning Engineer Doha, Qatar

Overview:We are looking to hire a Senior Commissioning Engineer for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 12-14 years experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of oil & gas industry Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices systems processes and in English is a Responsibilities:Represent QP as Commissioning Team Leader for all assigned projects in offshoreReview and comment EPIC Contractor SOW pre-commissioning commissioning and completion activatesLead project pre-commissioning commissioning and start-up engineering support services rendered by outsourced contractors with the objective to ensure that all such activities are conducted as per QP regulations project commissioning procedures and industry best practicesReports to Head Commissioning on all commissioning related matters under execution for successful completion of commissioningImprove QP commissioning procedures Initiate and contribute to the commissioning deliverables standardizationDevelop Commissioning Strategy Commissioning Plan and obtain approval for the same in consultation with End User and in accordance with Contract requirements and in close coordination with Head Commissioning and EPIC ContractorLeadership of the Commissioning Team in the development and arranges for approval of the commissioning procedures for all systems and facilitiesOrganize and ensure availability of the Commissioning Team and arranges the required manpower support from End User and ContractorDevelop planning of the commissioning activities and ensure its implementation as per the approved Commissioning Plan and project scheduleDetail the activities into required systems and subsystems to facilitate commissioning and start upDevelop and arrange for approval of all commissioning handover checklists and certificates and coordinate with Contractor/Vendors to solve system/equipment performance problemsWork closely with project Construction Team End User and Contractor to coordinate punch listing activities from beginning to end of the commissioning process including clearance and close outFrequent long working hours may be required which include outdoor field workExposed to multi-disciplinary multi-cultural environment requiring special coordination and expediting skills Sound inter-personal relationships and effective communication within QP and Contractor TeamsCoordinate schedule for vendors presence/visits at site(s) on-job training to assist in the commissioning of critical equipment and processesParticipate and contribute to all safety design review and studiesParticipate on FAT as of when requiredReview multidiscipline engineering deliverable from commissioning approachesSupport and assist project team in project closeout gateRequirements:BSc (or) BE in Instrumentation Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University with extensive commissioning experience of Oil & Gas projectsGood skills in construction management effective communication conflict resolutionGood communication skillsExposure to commissioning softwares ICAPS and similarA minimum of eight to ten (12 to 14) years experience in relevant construction and installation activities in projects of oil & gas industry Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices systems processes and standardsMulti-discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills is considered essential for the positionExperience in offshore projects construction installation activities are strongly preferredStrong technical experience in commissioning of F&G Systems DCS ICS Power Management Systems Instrument air Wellhead Control Systems etc in offshore RequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match Qatar
