Welder

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding using processes such as SMAW FCAW GTAW or MIG as per project requirements.
  

• Read and interpret engineering drawings welding symbols and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications).
  

• Prepare welding joints including beveling cleaning fit-up and alignment.
  

• Execute welds in various positions (flat horizontal vertical overhead) with proper control of heat input and penetration.
  

• Inspect own work for quality and compliance prior to QC inspection.
  

• Collaborate with fitters fabricators and supervisors to ensure accurate assembly and alignment.
  

• Follow all HSE procedures PPE usage and permit-to-work (PTW) requirements.
  

• Maintain welding equipment tools and work area in a safe and organized condition.
  

• Report defective materials welding issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
