Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates budgets and bills of quantities (BOQ) for building projects.
  

• Conduct detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
  

• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts.
  

• Monitor project costs variations and financial progress against budgets.
  

• Prepare interim payment applications final accounts and cost reports.
  

• Support tender preparation and bid submissions with accurate cost data.
  

• Liaise with project managers engineers and clients to ensure financial transparency.
  

• Conduct site visits to verify work progress and validate contractor claims.
  

• Ensure compliance with contractual terms industry standards and company policies.
  

• Provide advice on value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• BE/ in Civil Engineering.
  

• 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction projects.
  

• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and building codes.
  

• Proficiency in QS software (e.g. AutoCAD MS Excel CostX or equivalent).
  

• Experience in tendering contract administration and project cost control.
