Solution Architect - Systems On-Premises Cloud

CTC: 15k QAR to 20k QAR

Job Summary:
The Solution Architect Systems & OnPremises Cloud will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise IT systems and private cloud solutions. The role requires expertise in onpremises cloud infrastructure virtualization highavailability solutions and hybrid cloud integration. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable secure and resilient IT architectures.

• Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Design and implement enterprisegrade systems and onpremises cloud solutions.
  • Define strategies for infrastructure scalability security and resilience.
  • Develop highavailability and disaster recovery architectures.
  • Experience in creating quality design documentations such as High Level and Low level design documents.
• Implementation & Deployment:
  • Lead the deployment of onpremises cloud infrastructure virtualization and compute/storage solutions.
  • Oversee system integrations upgrades and migrations.
  • Optimize workloads between onpremises and hybrid cloud environments.
• Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices (ISO 27001 NIST GDPR etc..
  • Implement security frameworks for system hardening access controls and data protection.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
• Hybrid Cloud & Virtualization:
  • Architect and manage hybrid cloud environments integrating private cloud with public platforms (AWS Azure GCP).
  • Leverage virtualization technologies (VMware HyperV KVM) to optimize resource utilization.
  • Design and manage SoftwareDefined Data Centers (SDDC).
• HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI) & OnPrem Cloud Solutions:
  • Design deploy and manage HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI) solutions such as Nutanix VMware vSAN and Cisco HyperFlex.
  • Architect private cloud solutions leveraging Nutanix OpenStack and other onprem cloud platforms.
  • Optimize performance availability and scalability of HCI and onprem cloud environments.
• Stakeholder Engagement & PreSales Support:
  • Collaborate with business leaders IT teams and clients to assess requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise in client meetings and proposal development.
  • Assist in presales activities by designing ProofofConcept (PoC) solutions.
• Technology Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:
  • Evaluate emerging onpremises cloud and infrastructure technologies.
  • Conduct proofofconcept (PoC) testing for new solutions.
  • Recommend improvements for system performance reliability and security.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in systems architecture and cloud infrastructure design.
• Certifications:
  • VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE) or equivalent.
  • Solutions Architect Professional or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect is a plus.
  • Nutanix Certified Expert (NCX) is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere HyperV KVM).
  • Strong understanding of onpremises cloud and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
  • Experience with enterprise storage systems (SAN NAS Object Storage).
  • Proficiency in automation tools (Ansible Terraform) and scripting (PowerShell Python Bash).
  • Experience in backup disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
