Media & Communications Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Media & Communications Officer to join our team in Doha Qatar. As a key member of our communications department you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to enhance our organizations visibility and reputation.

• Develop and execute comprehensive media and communication strategies aligned with organizational goals
• Create engaging content for various platforms including press releases social media posts and website articles
• Manage and grow the organizations social media presence across multiple platforms
• Coordinate with internal departments to gather information and create compelling stories about our initiatives and achievements
• Plan and execute media events press conferences and interviews
• Monitor media coverage and analyze communication effectiveness using data-driven approaches
• Develop and maintain relationships with key media contacts and stakeholders
• Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing marketing materials and infographics
• Manage crisis communications and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Communications Journalism Public Relations or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in media communications or public relations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic
• Strong proficiency in social media management and content creation
• Experience in public relations and media relations
• Solid understanding of the media landscape in Qatar and the Middle East region
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze data and generate insightful reports on communication effectiveness
• Experience in crisis communications and reputation management
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
