Health Club Receptionist

Responsible for greeting members and guests managing front desk operations answering inquiries and providing a welcoming atmosphere. The role involves administrative duties customer service and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the reception area.

• Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive.
• Provide information about the clubs facilities programs and services.
• Address and resolve member inquiries complaints and issues promptly and courteously.
• Answer phone calls emails and other communications.
• Schedule appointments and manage bookings for classes personal training sessions and other services.
• Process membership applications renewals and cancellations.
• Maintain and update member records in the clubs database.
• Ensure the reception area is clean organized and presentable at all times.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies brochures and promotional materials.
• Monitor access to the club ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Enforce club policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuation procedures if necessary.

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferably in a health club or fitness center.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with member management software.
• Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
• Friendly outgoing and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of health and fitness is an advantage.
