HSE Manager

Job Overview A leading organization is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead Health, Safety and Environmental operations across a large-scale facilities management contract. The successful candidate will oversee HSE compliance, develop safety strategies, manage audits and investigations, and ensure adherence to local regulations and international standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the project's HSE Management System. Ensure compliance with company, client and statutory HSE requirements. Lead risk assessments and hazard identification activities. Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions. Manage emergency preparedness and response plans. Oversee contractor HSE compliance. Lead internal and external HSE audits. Monitor KPIs and prepare monthly HSE reports. Deliver HSE training and awareness programmes. Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities. Promote a strong safety culture across the project. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management or related discipline. NEBOSH International General Certificate (Mandatory). ISO 45001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor. ISO 14001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor. Training in: Risk Assessment Incident Investigation Emergency Response Fire Safety Permit to Work Systems Experience Minimum 8 years' relevant HSE experience. Minimum 3 years in an HSE Manager or Supervisory position. Experience within one or more of the following: Facilities Management Industrial Operations Logistics Warehousing Food Storage Port Operations High-risk operational environments Required Competencies Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Legal & Regulatory Compliance Contractor HSE Management Risk Assessment Incident Investigation Emergency Preparedness Audit Management HSE Performance Reporting Client & Authority Liaison Excellent leadership and communication skills
