Senior Veterinary Doctor

الوصف الوظيفيVeterinary degree (DVM or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Valid license to practice in Qatar (or eligibility to obtain one). Minimum 5–10 years of proven clinical experience with small animals; experience with exotic pets and birds is an advantage. Strong surgical and diagnostic skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities. Dedication to animal welfare, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Oryx Veterinary Center, one of Qatar’s leading veterinary facilities, is seeking a Senior Veterinary Doctor to join our expanding team. We are looking for an experienced professional with strong clinical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for providing the highest standards of veterinary care.
Responsibilities
- Lead consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of pet health conditions.
- Perform and supervise surgeries, dental care, and advanced medical procedures.
- Oversee and guide junior doctors, veterinary technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including laboratory, X-ray, and ultrasound.
- Ensure proper patient care, treatment follow-ups, and medical record keeping.
- Advise pet owners on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and wellness.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the veterinary team.
