Senior Commissioning Engineer - Offshore Oil and Gas

Contract : 1 year

Location : Offshore, Qatar

We are seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead and manage commissioning activities for major offshore oil and gas projects. The successful candidate will have extensive commissioning experience across multi-discipline systems and will provide technical leadership, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the client as Commissioning Team Leader for assigned offshore projects.
• Review and provide feedback on contractor scopes of work related to pre-commissioning, commissioning, and completion activities.
• Lead project pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up engineering support services delivered by contractors, ensuring adherence to company regulations, procedures, and industry standards.
• Report to Head of Commissioning on all matters related to execution and successful completion of commissioning activities.
• Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of commissioning procedures and deliverables.
• Develop commissioning strategies and plans, obtain necessary approvals in consultation with end users, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
• Lead the commissioning team in developing and approving procedures for all systems and facilities.
• Organise and ensure availability of the commissioning team and coordinate required manpower support from contractors and end users.
