Mechanical Engineer

Experience Level: Senior (8+ years)

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead and manage mechanical systems across the full project lifecycle. You will oversee pre- and post-contract operations, manage government compliance, and ensure mechanical installations meet functional, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineering & Operations: Oversee HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems installation, testing, and commissioning.

• FM Integration: Collaborate with Facilities Management teams to ensure long-term maintainability, lifecycle optimization, and smooth operational handover.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering within construction, infrastructure, or engineering consulting.

• Contract Expertise: Hands-on experience managing both pre- and post-contract deliverables and administration.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local government requirements, building codes, and municipal permitting processes.

• Facilities Management: Experience in Facilities Management (FM), operations, and maintenance considerations is strongly preferred.
