Job Description

Cluster Financial Controller Responsibilities:•Responsible towards the company finance operation for the status of the book of accounts as well as the financial indicators of the cluster. •Manage and pro-actively review control requirements for the company finance operations, and initiate/suggest the necessary actions to mitigate any risks identified and improve the company financial operations in general.•Implement functional engagement – Ensure the functional engagement at cluster level to enhance the Business Partner Satisfaction.•Provide regular management reporting on overall effectiveness of financial control framework.•Oversight of the financial control repository.•Manage financial control change, including supporting control design, in response to business change or changes in risks appetite.•Inspire, motivate and engage a large team towards strategic goals of the organization. Requirements:•Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Professional License Exam)/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.•Qualified Accountant with experience in auditing/governance, assurance and compliance areas.•Experience of planning and executing audits/tests and walkthroughs.•Extensive experience in upscale Hotel environment.•Ability to influence, motivate and coach multi-cultural virtual teams of varying experience and know-how. Skill:•Excellent interpersonal & communication skills. Personality:•Integrity – ensures compliance with standard practice, resolutions and statutes. Resourcefulness and Speed:•Can work fast in highly pressured environment with little guidance.
