1. Steel Product & Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of steel products : Rebars (TMT), Structural Steel (Beams, Channels, Angles), Hollow Sections, Sheets & Plates, Coils, Wire Rods, Mesh, GI / SS / Aluminium products.
- Understanding of steel grades and standards (BS, ASTM, QCS, EN).
- Ability to explain mechanical properties : tensile strength, yield strength, ductility, corrosion resistance.
- Knowledge of steel fabrication, cutting, bending, and reinforcement accessories.
2. Project-Based Solution Selling
Ability to identify steel requirements based on project drawings and BOQ.Advising contractors or consultants on product selection for structural durability and cost effectiveness.Value-based selling focused on quality, lifecycle, and compliance rather than just price.3. Sales & Negotiation Skills
Strong negotiation on pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.Ability to handle bulk orders, project sales, and long-term supply contracts.Cross-selling related products (e.g., spacers, binding wire, couplers, steel accessories).
