Job Summary
The incumbent is primarily responsible for assisting in the implementation of various Talent Management initiatives in the areas of Assessments & Succession Planning in line with the Group’s business and growth strategies. The role also ensures effective deployment of strategies, processes, systems and tools related to Talent Review & Succession Planning and tracks progress.
Main Responsibilities
- Shareholder & Financial : Assists Assistant Vice President Succession Planning and Graduate Development in implementing TM initiatives in Assessments & Succession Planning based on the Group’s staff development and leadership strategy. Implements KPIs and best practices for the Associate Succession Planning role. Promotes cost consciousness and efficiency to minimize cost, avoid waste, and optimize benefits for the bank. Acts within the limits of the powers delegated to the incumbent.
- Customer (Internal & External) : Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., wider Talent Management, L&D, GHCD, business divisions, external TM vendors, Universities, QFBA). Provide timely information to relevant leaders and vendors as required. Assist customers with queries on the Bank’s products and seek solutions. Maintain activities in accordance with SLAs with internal departments to improve turnaround times. Provide timely / accurate data to Auditors, Compliance, Financial Control and Risk when required.
- Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory) : Support execution of an organization-wide Succession strategy, enabling identification of high-potential talent. Track Talent Management initiatives to ensure completion within defined timeframes. Communicate project information to relevant stakeholders. Conduct and follow up on the identification process of high-potential candidates across divisions. Facilitate surveys of Divisional Heads to identify candidates with high-potential attributes. Implement fair assessment procedures for talent selection and succession management (e.g., psychometric assessments, promotion assessments, hiring assessments). Ensure assessments are completed and results are shared with stakeholders and, where applicable, external suppliers. Identify overseas training / program requirements and coordinate accordingly. Build and maintain strong relationships with other HR and business units to ensure successful project completion. Contribute to continual improvement of existing reports.
- Learning & Knowledge : Proactively identify areas for personal development and undertake relevant development activities. Stay current with developments in the professional field.
Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor degree (preferred major in Human Resources, Marketing, Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or Information Technology)
Relevant experience, preferably within a highly rated international bank, with responsibilities in Talent Assessment, Career Planning and Development, Competency Based Interviewing, and Assessors Qualification in SHL or related personality assessment tools.Note : You will be required to attach the following :
