Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Bid Coordinator to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Bid Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing the entire bidding process, from initial opportunity identification to final submission. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions.

Manage and oversee the entire bid process, ensuring all deadlines are met

Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, finance) to gather necessary information for bid packages

Analyze bid requirements and create comprehensive bid schedules

Prepare, review, and edit bid documents to ensure accuracy and completeness

Liaise with clients and partners to clarify bid specifications and requirements

Maintain and update the bid database, tracking all ongoing and completed bids

Conduct post-bid analysis to identify areas for improvement in future submissions

Assist in developing bid strategies to increase win rates

Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the bidding process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

3-5 years of experience in bid coordination or related field, preferably in the construction or engineering industries

Proficiency in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Data analysis and reporting skills

In-depth knowledge of bidding processes and procedures

Familiarity with contract law and procurement practices

Understanding of construction or engineering project lifecycles

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
