To ensure that all guest rooms, corridors, and service areas are maintained to the standards set by the Assistant Director Rooms and Heart of House. Responsibilities
Clean chairs, sofas, and carpets in guests' bedrooms and all public areas. Remove chewing gum, candle wax, wine, and coffee stains. Maintain standards daily following LQA, Forbes, and Brand standards in every task. Work closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner to contribute to the overall success of the hotel and guest satisfaction. Contribute to a unique guest experience and create a sense of place. Support new members of the housekeeping team. Handle guest concerns and comments and resolve them to ensure guest satisfaction. Adhere to appearance standards and report for work accordingly. Collect key cards and Duty Phone from the Housekeeping office at the start of shift. Collect equipment and ensure you have the correct tools for the job; notify your Floor Supervisor if anything is missing and commence cleaning departure rooms. Minimize noise when moving trolleys and during cleaning to respect sleeping guests. Keep noise on floors to a minimum (doors closing, conversations). Return rooms to daytime setup after service. Do not knock or enter rooms marked Do Not Disturb. Report sleep-outs, extra departures, rooms on DND, or rooms not requiring service to your Floor Supervisor. Clean all rooms following Rosewood standards. Keep trolleys neat and tidy throughout the day; ensure public areas and corridors are immaculate. Make up extra beds and baby cots as required. Report guest laundry found in occupied rooms to the housekeeping office immediately. Remove private dining trays from guestrooms and corridors to a designated collection area. Clean and empty vacuum cleaner and assist in tidying the store cupboard at the end of the day. Before ending shift, restock and clean the trolley and put it away. Sign out with the Floor Housekeeper and return lists, key cards, and Duty Phone to the Housekeeping office. Ensure lost and found items are turned in to Security and follow the lost property procedure. Gifts from guests must be accompanied by a signed authorization from the guest and a security pass out before removal from the hotel. Do not loan key cards or Duty Phones; report any loss immediately to the housekeeping office. Report any security concerns involving guests to the Security Department. Maintain equipment and report malfunctions to the Floor Supervisor. Report all malfunctions in assigned areas to the Floor Supervisor. Keep guest doors closed while servicing rooms and use the Service card. Do not allow anyone to enter the guestroom; advise the guest to use their keycard and seek assistance if the card is faulty. Ensure the safety of guest property and report suspicious activity to your Floor Supervisor. Report suspicious persons or activity to your Floor Supervisor. Maintain and rotate minibar stock and ensure rooms / minibars meet the required standard; stock and replace missing items, inspect and clean minibars per procedures; track daily minibar stock and post to guest accounts via iPod; ensure products are not expired and replace as necessary. Monitor and report any misuse or stock discrepancies. Standard Responsibilities

Be aware of and comply with safe working practices under Health and Safety rules, regulations, and procedures applicable to your place of work, including awareness of specific hazards. Wear appropriate protective clothing provided or recommended by the Company. Report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure. Ensure that any accidents involving associates, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures. Attend Fire, Health & Safety training and be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning Fire, Health & Safety.
