We are working with our client based in Qatar to source a BUYER. This is a residential contract to be based in Qatar.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain management, commercial discipline.

5 years' direct experience oil and gas industry with purchasing / procurement experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Create and finalize high-quality Spot Material Purchase Orders (POs) and oversee PO tracking until the Goods Receipt (GR) stage, ensuring adherence to Table of Financial Authority (TOFA) controls and guidelines to fulfill end users' material availability demands.

This position is responsible for facilitating end user(s) material demand requirements, by executing Spot Purchase Orders (POs) and tracking PO status to a successful material Goods Receipt (GR), for all types of materials.

This position handles POs awarded to numerous international and local suppliers and vendors. This position must ensure all deliveries are on time by working with expediting and aligning with packers, freight forwarders and logistics carriers.
