Housekeeping Manager vacancy in Al-Rayyan Qatar Housekeeping Manager (Malayalee)

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. As a Malayalee, you will be an integral part of our diverse workforce and play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff

Ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards

Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet our standards

Handle guest complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of operations, such as coordinating with front desk for room assignments and maintenance for repairs

Create work schedules for housekeeping staff according to occupancy levels

Train new employees on housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Maintain records of employee attendance and performance evaluations

Prepare reports on department expenses and budget deviations

Requirements

Fluent in Malayalam language (written and spoken)

Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a hotel setting

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively

Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently under pressure

Kno wledgeable about cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols

Good communication skills both written and verbal in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)

Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
